Sergi Passes Veteran for Second Feature Win at New Smyrna Speedway
Winner of Two of the First Three Events of 2015
Anthony Sergi is off to a solid start in the Super Late Model division at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.  He passed veteran David Rogers with five laps to go to earn his second victory of 2015.

“We started on the pole and got a bad start and fell back to third.  We got going but the leaders drove away from me,” recalled Sergi.  “We had a restart and it looked like their cars got a little slower.  I was able to get by Brad May and then I was able to pass David Rogers with five laps to go.  It was really good to beat Rogers, he is a veteran around this place.”

Sergi has won two of the three Super Late Model events so far this year at New Smyrna Speedway.

He currently has a five-point lead over Brad May in the track standings.

Sergi’s next scheduled event will be the Bright House Challenge Series event which is scheduled for May 30 at New Smyrna Speedway.
