Sergi Finishes Second at Orlando Speedworld
Caps off Month of April with Another Podium Finish
Anthony Sergi picked up another podium finish this past Saturday night at Orlando Speedworld in Orlando, FL.

In fact, Sergi picked up a pair of second place finishes as he also finished second in the heat race, as Rich Clouser won both the heat and the 25-lap feature.

“We started sixth in the heat race and the car was alright as we drove up to second. I tried to pass Clouser on the outside but couldn’t get off the corner,” Sergi recalled. “In the feature we started third and was up to second after a caution. I messed up on a re-start and could get around Clouser to grab the win.”

The second place finish at Orlando Speedworld wrapped up an impressive April for the 17-year-old driver from Orlando, FL.  Earlier this month he finished second at New Smyrna Speedway (FL) and had another top-ten finish at the Orlando bullring.

So far this season he has four top-five and eight top-ten finishes.  The next schedule race for Sergi is May 18 at New Smyrna Speedway for another round of racing under the NASCAR Whelen All American Series banner.
